Why these emails matter

A garage customer's main fear is being sold work they do not need. A discount does not calm that fear, it feeds it: a cheap oil change is exactly how a five-hundred-pound bill starts. So none of these templates lead on price. They lead on transparency: an estimate agreed before work starts, a phone call before anything extra, and old parts handed back on request.

How to choose a template

Promoting seasonal servicing? The promo template shows fixed-price packages. Just taken on a new customer? The welcome email explains how you work rather than who you are. Running a newsletter? The seasonal digest on preparing a car. Three templates close the loop: abandoned booking, service-due reminder, and the vehicle ready notification.

Tips

  • Say the estimate is agreed before work begins. It is the main objection and it almost always goes unspoken.
  • Mention that old parts are returned on request. A small thing that noticeably raises trust in a garage.
  • In the ready notification, list the work completed. The customer will check it against the job sheet, and that is fine.
  • Do not lean on seasonal urgency every month. Two sends a season outperform eight.
  • For warranty issues, say people can come in without an appointment. It removes the fear of being abandoned after the repair.

Frequently asked questions

Are these templates free to use?

Yes. Open any template in the editor, replace the copy and images, then export the HTML or send it through your own provider.

Will the emails render correctly in Outlook?

Yes. The markup is table-based, with no flexbox or absolute positioning, and background images are duplicated in VML.

Do these work for a tyre shop rather than a full garage?

Yes. Work packages become individual services and everything else stays the same. For a tyre shop the seasonal promo is the main sales tool of the year.

When should a seasonal service email go out?

Three to four weeks before the rush. Later than that there are no slots left and the email only irritates.
